Oooh. That's me. And from left to right: Trix, Confetti, Loiosh (on my snout), Chex, Emily Robinson and Kristina Kringle. Click here to learn more about my birds!
Sit down, pull up a chair, kick off your shoes, don't step on the pets, and relax. This is my room, and nothing bad happens here. Except that I get to bore you with telling you all about me! [enter maniacal laughter here]
Enough of that, though. I promised to stay sane.
Waitaminute.
No I didn't!
All right! It's open season on humans! Now I get to bore you with insane tales of my interests and things! (And remember, folks: I'm going to rule the world, someday. You should take notes, for those with gifts are smiled upon.)
JBMcDragon: 1) n. A person gifted with the enviable position of tormenting those around them. 2) n. A girl who occasionally takes the shape of a dragon. 3) n. Future ruler of the world. 4) n. A soon to be famous and already published author. 5) n. Terribly modest, besides.

Okay, okay, a short blurb about me. JB stands for Just Because, or Jelly and Bananas, or Jolly Brat, or Jelly Bean, or Jenna Breen. Take your pick. McD stands for McDragon. I've been archived all over under various names, some of which are JB, JBMcD, JBMcDragon (which I prefer, though older archives don't use this), JB McDonald, Kijiski and Shakti. There are probably more I don't know about. There usually are.
The McDragon part of my name came about when I was co-archiving a webpage with P-Tote, who's a wonder with webpages, and we had a message board. Things got ugly on the board. Many flames were thrown before I won (because, after all, I ran the board and could kick those off who tried to flame me. A note: Never flame a dragon.) Anyway, the guys who didn't like me saw that I had a dragon picture on my personal page, and declared that the D in McD stood for Dragon. They were trying to irritate me. Doesn't it figure that I thought it was hilarious? Since then I've been JBMcDragon.
Ummmmm... I really dislike personal pages. Have I mentioned that? I don’t think so.

Once upon a time there was a little--
What? No, Jerry. Sit down and fold your wings up, please. Now, as I was saying there was once a little dragon girl. She had many birds and she was rather rabid about how people cared for them. Yes, I know that birds are for eating, silly. She didn’t seem to think so, though. She knew much about birds, and liked to help people with theirs. She even trained them. She liked them so much she put up a page about them. Now, she liked all animals, but she also especially liked horses. Yes, Jerry, the kind the knights ride. I know they taste good with tartar sauce. No, she didn’t eat them, either. I know. She was very strange. She trained horses. At an amateur level, of course. She trained all sorts of yummy animals and never once even had a taste. Pitiful, really. She was much loved in the fanfic world. Well, actually, she was much loved by those few people who muchly loved her, but it’s the same thing, really. Funny, too. Other than training her animals, all she ever did was write... don’t know why anydragon would be interested in that... What? Oh. Yes. The story. Well, it doesn’t have an end. You see, she’s still alive. Oh, no, she hasn’t starved by any means. She’s doing quite well. I know it’s strange, but what can you do? Now all of you winglets head off to bed. I’ll have another story for you tomorrow.

Stories written for me: A Congratulation Story by Em-Spider, written because I hadn’t had to go to the doctor in a long while (I’m very accident prone). A Birthday Story for my 19th birthday (on January 13th) by Maelie. A New Kinda Perspective by Lise, because I made her happy. Sort of. A Fic by Lise, written on the spot in IRC one night, because I wouldn't leave her alone. |
There are more stories like this in the junk drawer that I’m sure I’m forgetting. Bah.
Also, archived with some of my stories are stories other people have written about those characters. They're always set aside, or noted somehow. But please, ask before using my characters (unless it's a birthday story--then asking would ruin the surprise!). I'm putting my stories up in the belief that human nature is good, and my stories and characters won't be stolen. Don't rob me of that belief, okay? I'm an optimistic little dragon. ;)
Now go, check out the site, and enjoy!
