Jubilee opened the door to the kitchen and slowly and angrily made her way to a table where she sat with her arms crossed.
Hank walked in in slippers and a bathrobe, sipping his coffee and humming the theme from Shakespeare's Hamlet.
"Ah, shut up fur ball!" Jubilee said, glaringly at him rudely.
"Excuse me, Jubilation?"
"Ya heard me, can it!"
Hank looked disgruntled and pulled up a chair next to Jubilee.
Jubilee just looked out the window and watched a blue jay perched on a wall nearby. "Oh, look at the bird, gosh it's beautiful."
Hank raised his eyes from the morning newspaper and looked at Jubilee oddly.
"Excuse me?"
"Look, the birdy!" She repeated.
Hank looked at the bird then back at Jubilee.
The bird flew off and Jubilee's fascination was lost. "Get away from me, eew gross!" She said, moving away.
Hank stared at her, then back at his paper, not making a sound, just thinking.
"Humph!" Jubilee said, raising her nose and walking out.
Hank sat and chuckled to himself.
