Where Bitters Past commentary lurks. Oh, you lucky things
Bitters Past update! Run, run along, now. Lordy, she has stamina. And in heels, too.
I should add that this was the first BP page scanned using my new scanner, and oh gawd, it was heavenly. With my old scanner, I could never get a consistent look, and some of you may have been noticed this. I always had to fiddle with levels and settings to try and get some continuity. Not so much now. My scanner rocks the casbah.
It is also huge. Just watch me try to pack this baby up.
Which reminds me! A head’s up: Most of you know by now (and if you don’t, honey, where have you been?) that I will be moving countries in a month’s time. I’ve been busy packing and dispersing and getting things in order prior to my departure, and there’s still a whole lot to do.
What does this mean for Bitters Past? Well, BP has a couple more new pages to go, but after the end of the month, it will go on break since I — about to hit the road and embark on something new and minty-fresh — will obviously be unable to draw and update while everything’s still up in the air.
How long will the break be? A few months, I’d say — have to get new paperwork done, identifying documents, acquire a new métier, soak up some sun after such a shocking winter . . . can’t rush these things. Stay tuned to this section and I’ll let you know when BP returns.
But wait! Here’s the good news: During my absence, there will be a Bitters Past contest! With real prizes! Whoo! So remember to check here the first week of May to find out what it is, and try your luck at it. You might find yourself a very fortunate winner indeed. Who loves you, baby?
