After the Chuunin exams, the Konoha kids are sent on vacation. Sakura's off with her family, Naruto with Jiraiya for ramen, and Sasuke remains to study with Kakashi. But when Kakashi goes off on a mission, Sasuke's left on his own. By the time Kakashi returns, Sasuke's gone. Found later, beaten and bloody, they start learning what happened, and begin trying to put him back together again. R for violence. Verrrry dark. AU as of right after the Chuunin trials.
