I would be remiss in sharing links to great free music if I didn’t include Josh Ritter in the mix. I found out about him way back when the Paste Culture Club still had its regular podcast, and became a fan ever since. If you ever get a chance to watch him live in concert, grab it! He and his band will make you laugh, make you pensive, and sing their hearts out to you like nobody’s business.
This week: “Change of Time” by Josh Ritter. Josh has always offered free downloads to many of his songs, both original and live versions — switching them up on his website to keep you on your toes — so I encourage you to visit his site often and sign up for his mailing list to keep up with the latest!

Welcome to Music Mondays, where I will share with you quick links to free music that I think you should definitely give a listen to. The idea came about after a moment of thoroughly bopping to a song and singing aloud to it — in public, no less, but fortunately there was no one about — and realising that hey, such goodness must be shared. So I will endeavour to share on a weekly basis!
First up: “Precious Stone” by Pete Yorn. I’ll be honest — I’ve never heard his music before. I knew there were many who liked him, I just hadn’t heard his stuff, is all. If you’re new to it just like me, this latest song that he’s offering for free is a good introduction!
